Location: Chislehurst, Bromley 

This restaurant went from serving Italian food to Indian food therefore the owners rebranded the business. As part of the transformation, they wanted us to create a design that was modern and authentic for the interiors. 

Goal: Design a space that’s airy with modernity yet authentic Indian touches. 

Practical requirements: Create better lighting to set the mood throughout the day. Give the space character keeping the floor and bar. Create a waiting area for takeaway customers and for those wanting to have a drink awaiting for their table to be ready. 

Design: We designed a modern Indian theme for the restaurant that takes customers to the fun rural India with the woven baskets and playful colours. We reconfigured the lighting and incorporated feature lighting to create personal spaces. The waiting area become an interesting corner of the restaurant adding a pop of colour. This is now a local favourite for colour that doesn’t feel like the conventional curry house.
