Project brief

Location: Chislehurst, Bromley

A semi-detached house in the heart of Chislehurst needed to be brought into the current era. The client hired us to work on the living room, main bedroom, and family bathroom of their new home.

Goal: To retain most of the existing furniture while giving the space a sense of style and updating its look.

Practical requirements: New flooring was required so the room can feel refreshed.  The clients requested additional lighting for evening use, with separate control. A practical and child-friendly coffee table was required to enhance the room’s aesthetic. The window treatments needed updating to be modern and aligned with the clients’ taste, while allowing natural light to enter.

Design: We created a design that complemented the clients’ neutral taste and their existing sofa, making the room feel fresh and renewed. We proposed coffee table options that wouldn’t crowd the space or feel invasive. We suggested adding an armchair for quiet moments away from the TV. The panelling on the feature wall adds depth and interest to the room. The new light fittings provide the client with control over the mood they wish to set. The result is an elegant room that’s inviting and comfortable without compromising on space.
